How To Get Involved

We have 3 different therapeutic integration options through Camp Connections LLC.
Discover which is best for your family.

Camps

Our seasonal camps run during the school breaks.  We have a week long Winter and Spring camp, and a 6-8 week long summer camp. All camps coincide with the public school break schedule, from 12 noon until 4:00 p.m.

Saturday TI Programs

Our Saturday TI Program runs from September until the end of the school year, from 12 noon – 4:00pm.

Aftercare Programs

Our Aftercare Program runs the entire school year, following the public school schedule, with no aftercare on early release days. It is held from 3:00pm-6:00pm at Gaithersburg Middle School. Transportation is arranged through Montgomery County school busses.

Variety of Integrations

We consistently update our camp and program activities based on interest. The areas of focus typically include the following

Swimming

Swim time at the Gaithersburg Aquatic Center is great way to get exercise and be social.

Community Outings

We enjoy taking the campers on field trips in the community, including bowling and water park at Bohrer Park.

Music & Movement

Dance instruction is focused on helping to improve motor skills and agility. Music and Movement also nurtures social and communication skills.

Gross Motor Games

Non-competitive games will be planned and students will be encouraged to participate in these sports including parachute games, bowling, hockey, and catch.

Parachute Games

Parachute games encourage cooperative, non-competitive play and reinforce turn-taking and sharing. Additionally, parachute play is one of the few gross motor activities that strengthens the upper torso.

Arts & Crafts

Our Arts & Crafts activities provide students with an opportunity to engage in self- expression while creating fun projects.

Outdoor Time

Whether engaging in water play, bubbles, trampoline, or moon bounce, Outdoor Time is the perfect opportunity to enjoy the sunshine.

Bootcamp

Students get quite the workout during boot camp. They will have an opportunity to get in shape while building strength and confidence.

Musical Performances

Students will have an opportunity to listen to live guitar, drum and vocal performances. They will be able to dance and express themselves to fun tunes.

Drumming Lessons

Our drum instructor facilitates the use of drums and rhythm in a group setting. Drumming gives all children a voice as it allows non-verbal communication.

Sensory Play

This activity provides key sensory input. Over time, sensory play can help reduce both sensory seeking and avoidance behaviors. Common activities include tactile toys such as modeling clay, water play, and bouncing on a trampoline or yoga ball

Adaptable Basketball & Soccer

Regardless of basketball or soccer skill level, students will have fun shooting some hoops on height adjusted basketball nets. This will enhance success and motivate students to increase their skills. Students can also practice, kicking, passing and scoring goals. Our creative coaches break down concepts, use fun visuals and creative attention-grabbing games to teach the sport.
